Ansa (“Ansa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ansa AI phone attendant platform and the website getansa.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our service. By using Ansa, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information You Provide
- Account information: your name, email address, business name, business phone number, and (when applicable) your password and authentication tokens.
- Business configuration: hours, services, pricing, call-handling preferences, knowledge-base content, and any other data you provide to configure your AI phone attendant.
- Payment information: billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Notification credentials: if you provide an email service API key (e.g., Resend) for outbound notifications, we store it encrypted at rest.
b) Information Collected Automatically
- Call audio: calls handled by Ansa are streamed through our telephony partner. We process audio in real time to transcribe and respond to callers.
- Call transcripts: text transcriptions of calls generated by speech-to-text systems.
- Caller information: the phone number of the caller, the duration and timestamps of each call, and any information the caller provides during the conversation (such as their name, address, or reason for calling).
- Call metadata: structured fields extracted from the call (e.g., caller name, service type, urgency), call outcomes, and analytics computed from call activity.
- Website usage: when you visit getansa.app, we collect IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and similar technical data via Google Analytics 4 (see Cookies and Tracking, Section 8).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Ansa AI phone attendant service
- Answer calls, capture caller information, and notify you of calls in real time
- Generate call summaries, analytics, and reports in your dashboard
- Improve call quality, AI accuracy, and overall service reliability
- Send service-related communications (account updates, billing notices, support replies)
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on the following third-party providers to deliver the Ansa service. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect your information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Twilio: telephony infrastructure for call routing, phone number provisioning, and SMS delivery.
- Deepgram: real-time speech-to-text transcription.
- Anthropic (Claude): large-language-model processing for understanding caller intent, generating conversational responses, and summarizing calls.
- ElevenLabs:text-to-speech synthesis used to produce Ansa's voice.
- Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
- Resend: transactional email delivery (used when you provide an API key, or via our shared infrastructure).
- Fly.io: cloud infrastructure for application hosting and managed PostgreSQL.
- Google Analytics 4: aggregated, anonymized website analytics for getansa.app marketing pages.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and to comply with our legal obligations:
- Call recordings, transcripts, and metadata are retained while you are an active subscriber so you can review them in your dashboard and so we can support and improve the service. You may request deletion of specific calls or all call data at any time by contacting us.
- Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period after cancellation to allow for reactivation, then deleted upon request or in the ordinary course of housekeeping.
- Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive credentials, access controls, and isolated tenant environments. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we take ongoing steps to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Your Privacy Rights
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Opt out of sale: we do not sell personal information, but you may opt out of any future sharing.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
European Residents (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to:

7. Caller Privacy Notice
When someone calls a business that uses Ansa, their call may be answered by our AI phone attendant. Call audio is processed and transcripts are generated to provide the service.
If you are a caller who wishes to request deletion of your call data, please contact us at support@getansa.app with the approximate date, time, and phone number of the call.
Businesses that use Ansa are responsible for informing callers, as required by applicable law, that calls may be handled by an AI system and recorded.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use Google Analytics 4 on getansa.app to understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages. GA4 sets first-party cookies on your browser to measure aggregated, anonymized site usage (such as pages visited and approximate session duration). We do not use cookies to track you across other sites or for advertising personalization.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Ansa is a business-to-business service and is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on getansa.app. Your continued use of Ansa after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
